Indeed a very nice gesture, I was pleased to hear about it earlier.

So sorry to hear about Vic's Mother, too... :(

Thanks, Syl, for posting this.

Clive was a very kind man, always smiling, always willing to help, generous and easy going.

We've been together to many games all around the UK, he loved Arsenal & Arsenal Ladies so much.

He never said a bad word about anyone, loved his friends, his cats & dogs and his Arsenal.

I am very sad he passed away, way too soon. I will miss him a lot :(

The night his ex-wife texted me with the sad news, I only managed to send one text to Leanne, and I'd like to thank her to pass it on to all of you.

Anyone who would like to attend Clive's funeral, please e-mail me: and I will inform you as soon as I know everything.
Or wait for Leanne to text you, as she promissed to pass the news again.

So long Clive, you will be missed a lot. You were the best Friend :(

P.S. I apologise for my English, as usual.

She's not Scandinavian :P

It was quite a nice game to watch (or maybe I was just hungry for some footy action) ;)

The scorers were (if I remember well): Landstrom (Swe) 0-1, Sorensen (Den) 1-1,
Schelin (Swe) 1-2, Seger (Swe) 1-3, Schelin 1-4 (Swe), Pape (Den) 2-4.

Basing on yesterday's game, I'm thinking Landstrom should start more often from now on
so the always-injured Ljungberg can rest properly :)

And what was Ostberg booked for, will remain a mystery,
I guess they just like to book her ;D

So it seems Sweden are going to the Olys,
even though England earned the privilege fair and square... *sigh* :)
Let's wait for the 2nd leg though...

LOL "I wasn't that annoyed really, once it's gone, it's gone." - how optimistic ;)

Thanks for the link, Dave.

That's bad news for Umea ;)

I'm surprised they didn't offer her a contract first...

Lise, Ragnhild, now Unni too... :( I saw that one coming though...

Norway team will not be the same any more,
just like Sweden after Mostrom retired...

Toppserien top scorers:
Wiik, Lindy Melissa Løvbræk (Asker)      22
Gulbrandsen, Ragnhild Ø. (Asker)      14
Gulbrandsen, Solveig (Kolbotn)      14
I changed it the way it should be ;)

Just found a bit about it on FG site as well:

I hope they did not have any naughty photos on their phones ;)

Jokes aside, it's horrible what happened to them, I've been robbed once and I know some things are just irreplacable  :'(

The FA WSL / Arsenal Ladies robbed!
« on: November 03, 2007, 06:34:11 PM »
Arsenal Ladies were broken into their dressing room
during their match against Watford FC
and had their clothes, money, bags etc stolen.

 >:( >:( >:(

The game v Watford has been abandoned because of this terrible incindent.

Thanks for the translation Annika, I hope Lise stays in UIK but Asker is a nice option :)

Hi Annika! Nice to meet an Asker fan! ;)

Well... I guess there is a little scandinavian touch over my list but you will have to live with that  ;D.
I love it!  8)

Considering the number of Finns in AIK, I think this would be her next team if she decided to leave BIF.
I really hope it will never be DIF though :-\

European Women's Football / Laura Kalmari
« on: October 30, 2007, 10:22:02 AM » pregnant! ;D

That puts her performance at Euro 2009 in question,
she won't play until the end of this season - that's for sure ;)

Congrats Lauz, may it be a girl and play footy better than her momma in the future! ;D
