IF SHE really will play saturday or next wednesday for the Breakers, I will be pissed...
I think playing for ENGLAND after all is more important than for the Breakers..
Sorry for any other Breaker fan besides me here?!  ::)
She is dealing with that injury already since one of the Last SKYBLUE games...actually she ran into Asante and got injured  :-\
We'll see that next few weeks- I totally agree!  ;)

... how serious is this Kelly Smith injury?

put this way I bet she her hand is more sore today from all the autographs she ended up signing  :D when she got of the coach, she wasn't limping or anything significant I could see. Think you'll know come next couple of weeks, Boston only have 4 games left and need to secure their play off spot; she will probably be vital to that depending on how other results go.

....far from classic display but redeemed by a late winner ...... Alex Scott won POM but I thought Sue Smith was the best player on the pitch , super match from her.

Yep totally agree wasn't England at their best, far better at Shrewsbury. But think that's because Fara was too far up IMO. I would have preferred to have seen R.Williams on in No.10 slot. Wish she'd given Dowie and Hickmott some time as they were the only ones in the squad not to have played in last 3 matches; would have been nice to see what they could do. I actually thought Alex Scott did deserve POM she really showed her class from playing with Boston, plus Sue Smith won it at the Norway match, so good to share it around  ;)

Well I saw some Highlights on the Fa.com site and a video some other fan was recording secretly..
and I followed the game..(well if you can say following because of the slow match tracker) on the fa.com...
;-)
and the boston games a see at the internet stream, that where I get my impression of Alex increasing her skills... ;-)

I really hope that Kelly will have a quick recovery..
Just saw that they fly back to Boston..
Final selection will be announced at 04 August.. til then not really much time to bounce back :-(
We'll see but Yesterdays game already made a good impression on what to expect at the EUROs in Finland.
And Alex Scott has increased a lot of speed, technical skill and nearly everything on her time at the WPS!
Definitely deserev the PLAYER of THE MATCH title!  ;D

Yes she did deserve player of the match but u werent even there so how do u know???
