England Cup Competitions / Re: league cup final

Congrats to Leeds. They played a blinding 1st half and got stuck in in the 2nd half.  Good goalkeeping by their goalie Telford. Brown on the other side for me was not so good.

They shouldn't just expect to walk back into the national team in my opinion. There are players already there that have played well and put all the bullshit behind them to play for their country regardless who is in charge.

Let them make themselves available for selection and if the new management think they have being playing well in the league and they deserve a place so be it.

The Ref was terrible...yes she let the game flow but there was some blatent fouls going in there and that was a hand ball.Jeezus!!

just have to say Katie Chapman...she was brilliant. How many headed balls in midfield did she win!

Played well today ...kept England in the game. Not a big fan of her though..doesn't look confident to me at times but she had an excellent game today.

The defence was awful..they can't get away with that against better teams.

On the plus side their attacking was good.

wow... haha... they think their Brazillians.

We will see if in fact that they do take the field with their shirts like that. Can't wait.

Apparently they did this time lol.

Made hard work of it though. More creativeness is required to beat the Germans.

Bardsley is a good solid keeper. She is very tall & i think she handles the ball better than Brown.

Probably Sky Blue...since she was in Boston watching 2 matches(the Athletica match and FC Gold Pride) and then watched them take on Chicago in Chicago.

They deserve to be recognised. So much so that Womans Soccer Insider has dedicated a post to the players in the WPS.

In all honesty i think they have a good team which could do something in the 2010 World Cup.

Aluko didn't have a game during the week. Athletica had a bye week so she is fresh.

Now that Setanta is gone who will broadcast the English Womens international matches?

Are the Iceland and Denmark games being televised anywhere?

All the games look to be in England. The USA have there games in England and also look at the dates. There is no way you travel and play in 3 days for an international match.
