Players / Re: Gemma Davison

Emma Hayes has interviewed with sky sports regarding gemma davisons career outside Arsenal. She looks as though she's played with som top players in USA Marta, Sinclair. Here with Kelly Smith, Yankey.  Sound an interesting career so far.

Another easy game. Not much to gauge team by. Playing Germany may be better indication I think.

You're probably right there! Good signing for them if it comes off. Trouble is some players gave reputation of up and going.

Is it right to reward some players by being 'rewarded' on the long list. Are any of them in line for proper selection? Are some that are selected just there to sit on bench? With the World Cup next year are Stoney and smith actually going to be selected? There are one or two that aren't performing at club level, but still selected. There are one or two performing at club level and not being selected!

Question.... What is the criteria?

All in form players or  maybe not!

Anyone who goes to watch ALFC doesn't take much notice of Ken's abuse. It's all to usual and he's often told to be quiet.

Kerr may have had personal reasons for leaving maybe going back to Scotland with her family.

Shelley allegedly made some mistakes when she arrived at arsenal. The changes in the league gave players choices to move to other clubs on probably better deals. All this depleted the squad leaving shelley having to recruit from abroad.  She brought in some 'elderly' players. Yes experience is needed, but it contradicted the theory of a mass clear out of spoilt brat elderly players. Other clubs jumping to get them! Some players had four or five to choose from.

Multiple reasons but ultimately leaving arsenal in a mess. Probably Vic will step in again. So was she pushed, did she go before she was sacked. Whatever .... It's made for a better league with more competition.

Hopefully a better choice will be made.. But they've missed the boat for the better established managers.

It was inevitable. A long way to go to rebuild now

I think in this case it's a little more than the losses. They just cemented her fate

She recently made a statement about being keen to play for england.

So the main squad plus maybes and a few 'reward for performing well lately' !

Reduction on 2 June to main squad + few sitters.

Dissapointing decision to leave davison out! Can bring so much to a match. Hope she's included next time.

No surprises there either!

I agree Kerr playing little so far back inhibited her scoring chances. Obviously not the way someone of littles ability should really be played. Probably one of the reasons she decided to leave the club which was not playing her to her potential. Hopefully Harvey will take advantage of littles talent in Seattle.

It will be no surprise that arsenal will be there or thereabouts. I am sure good players will be brought n.
I disagree that houghton was the only player they wanted to keep. I also disagree that she will undoubtedly be next england captain. The decision has yet to be made on that one. Kim Little is the biggest loss. I do hope the squad gels better than last year. They had little team spirit, hopefully this will change.

Low wages there balancing part time jobs, sounds a familiar story!

Good deal for Hayes. Very strong signings. No news about Susie yet as far asI know. Maybe she's trying to get back to arsenal like Stoney! Not sure where she could fit in though. She's already been to Chelsea, Birmingham and Arsenal. Unless she moves away from area not sure where her options are now.

With all transfers, teams becoming more even. Arsenal will make a couple of big signing soon to replace losses I would expect. Still more to come for other clubs to. League should be more competitive next season.
