Title: Hello and question
Post by: Mandy on November 11, 2013, 05:08:09 PM
Hi my name is Mandy and I've just moved to Glasgow from the US. I'm looking to play some casual football (soccer) to just have a chance to get back into the game and have some fun. Does anyone know of a good place to look into some friendly games? Thanks!

Hi Mandy and welcome to the board - unfortunately, there are no good football teams in Glasgow that spring to mind but good luck hunting...... ;D

Take no notice, Mandy! . . they are just being ironic :) . . try Glasgow City Ladies who play in the Champions League and exported one of their players into the first eleven at Turbine Potsdam (Lisa Evans).

In World Cup 2015 qualification Scotland is top of group 4, three points ahead of Sweden.

But if you want to play at a fun level, there must be clubs in most towns that could take you on.  Look in the local paper.
