Title: Washington AFC u14 Lionesses
Post by: WAFCu14Coach on July 05, 2012, 10:29:15 PM
Hi I'm Simon and I'm heading into my 3rd full season with my u14 girls. Our club was established around 3 years ago and has grown rapidly with more than 330 kids on our books. We have girls teams at u10,11,12,13 & 14 as well as a development section and one or two still playing in the boys teams.
Its our aim as a club to have girls teams in every age group right up to a women's senior team.
We are always on the look out for more girls to join us and for the last 2 seasons have had 2 teams competing at u10 level, one of which has been under age as there was no league available for u9s.

Girls train on Mondays and Wednesdays 5.30-6.30 (yrs2-5) and 6.30-7.30 (yrs 6-8) at the Northumbria Centre in Washington where work is about to start on a £1/2M development of changing rooms, cafe area and classrooms as well as new pitches.
