maybe need stronger midfield.  players are smail in that area to compete against european and US players.
defence may be strong enough and goal keeping is OK.  As the players dont train together for time before the tournament they just get it together when its over!  The US players train together much more.

It's true, the USA organises training camp at regular interval.
However the team shape and gameplan is more of less the same one at every youth and senior level do
defensively the players should already know what they have to do, when the ball is lost and in the opposition feet.
