Playing at different levels
« on: February 02, 2019, 09:15:04 PM »
Am I right in thinking a player can sign for 2 teams so long as one is significantly higher up the pyramid than another.  Does anyone know if that is right and if so where I can find the specifics ?

I know of several players who have done this and the teams have to be in different tiers. From what I've heard, being on two teams doesn't always work and can create confusion in terms of training, matches and medical/physio care.

No idea where to find more info about it, but presumably it's somewhere on the FA website.

Dual signings are possible as well as loans. Some players get actually loaned to higher divisions teams.
