Sarah Wiltshire
« on: July 14, 2017, 08:51:11 AM »
This forum goes all the way back :) Mentions back when Sarah Wiltshire was an Arsenal youth striker in 2007, and when she represented England U17s. She spent years with Watford, and her goals won Yeovil promotion to WSL 1. During her career she also switched her national allegiance...

She's now signed for Spurs as they enter WSL 2:

Quote
Wiltshire, 26, impressed so much during her time at Yeovil that she was signed by WSL1 high-fliers Manchester City in 2015.

She’s also a full Welsh international with 31 caps to her name.

“This is a fantastic signing for us,” manager Karen Hills told tottenhamhotspur.com. “Sarah has a wealth of experience in the WSL and has a real goalscoring pedigree at this level.

“She was top scorer in WSL2 (until her pregnancy) in 2016, she’s quick and a great finisher – she’s perfect for us.”

An excellent player that will be deeply missed at Yeovil.  No surprise when she left though, a new born baby & communting between Herts & south Somerset was always going to be too much for her to manage.
I wish her every good luck at Spurs & hope to see her name on the score sheet most weeks.

Followed her early career at Arsenal and Watford- she at a good club in Spurs who will be in the WSL1 before long-all the best to her.
