Rangers pip Hibs

The Cabbage:
Rangers took the runners-up spot in the Scottish Women's Premier League by beating Celtic 2-1 in their Old Firm derby on the last day of the season.
Hayley Cunningham and Kathryn Hill scored the goals which saw Rangers finish in the highest position in their history while Celtic, who replied through Chloe Craig, have to settle for fifth.
Hibernian needed to win their final game at Spartans to stand any chance of second place but their 5-1 victory over their local rivals turned out to be not quite enough and they miss out on goal difference. Lisa Robertson and Lizzie Arnot each scored twice for Hibs with Kirsty Smith adding the other goal, while Spartans' consolation came from Claire Crosbie.
Champions Glasgow City ended their season on a winning note, 2-1 away to Aberdeen. Julie Nelson gave City an early lead which was cancelled out by Marlijn Hermans, before Leanne Ross marked her return from injury by scoring the winning goal which sees her side finish seventeen points clear at the top of the table.
Hamilton Academical won the bottom section of the table by a ten point margin after they ended their campaign by beating Buchan Ladies 3-2. Jordan Daliosia bagged a hat-trick for the Accies with Donna Patterson and Louise Brown responding for Buchan.
Inverness City finished up in eighth place in their first season back in the league as they battled out a 3-3 draw with Forfar Farmington. Veronika Klechova netted twice and Sarah Main the other for Inverness, while Forfar's goals came via a Nicola Davidson brace and Murron White.
The spoils were shared in the other game as the clash between Hutchison Vale and Queen's Park ended goalless
