Aluko and Dowie combine to put England one up. Sweet memories of them both in red back in 2007.

Terrible first half, excellent 2nd half. Aluko was quality and Tats dowie is a gifted and natural striker. Rare in football. dont expect her to chase up and down the pitch, shes the gary Lineker type, a sniffer of goals.

That 4-4-2 system was a gamble with players not used to it at all.
Saying 3-0 should have been the score at half time. Aluko having 2 10 yards shot saved and off target. She could have had a hat trick very easily.

The early goals from set pieces settled the game. I am sure he will return to 4-3-3 or put the players with the appropriate profile in midfield ie technical players with pace on the side of the diamond. Scott and Moore not the right profile for this system.

Players know 4-4-2 standard flat midfield, but they did not know the diamond version and it showed. Changed it because he had no wingers? Why not call up players like er I dont know... Davison and have Aluko on the other side surely then could have kept to 4-3-3?

Hardest game of the group and changes system? Strange indeed. Overall better levels of ability and fitness shone through in the end but against better opposition would have got found out.

He could have played Clarke or Susi and keep the 4-3-3 as well or call up Davison...

Looks like he' chosen his fav squad, the outsiders you can take your pick. Davison not a favourite by the looks of it again.
