Dispensation for travel to a COE
« on: February 16, 2014, 10:16:37 AM »
Just a quick question to apply for special dispensation for travel does this only apply if your nearest COE is some distance away?

For example if you have a local COE but don't want to attend that one or didn't get in there or don't like it there etc. But wanted to attend a different one which is 2 hours away could You apply under the FA rules for special dispensation if they accepted you or does this only apply to your nearest COE.

Thank you!

if its less than two hours away its your choice where to go, obviously it will cost you more to travel but some girls have traveled from oxford to Birmingham as a choice with no permission needed. others have traveled from leicester to birmingham and west brom, you dont have to go to the nearest one.

Hi there, As far as i am aware you can pretty much choose where your daughter decides to go as long as they are offered a contract by that centre. Some players i would imagine are more than two hours away from the 32 centres dotted up and down the U.K.

But please do not take my word for it. As always its worth e mailing the F.A.
