Millwall to host England's World Cup qualifier with Wales on The FA's 150th anniversary

Millwall will host England’s third FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier, against Wales on 26 October 2013 - the day of The FA’s 150th anniversary.

The Den last staged an England Women’s game back in April 2010 when a first-half Katie Chapman goal against Turkey kept the Three Lions on course for an unbeaten run towards the last World Cup.

Before taking on our near neighbours in south London, we face Belarus in Bournemouth on 21 September and Turkey at Fratton Park five days later, when Brent Hills will take temporary charge of the team.

The Lions' chief executive Andy Ambler said: "We are delighted to be hosting another high profile international at The Den.

"Millwall have long been big supporters of women's football and hopefully the England v Wales qualifier will give south London fans the chance to see some of the top players in the women's game."

Tickets for the Wales game are now on sale and can be purchased by calling 0844 826 2004 (option 2) or by visiting www.millwalltickets.com
