Celtic v Spartans

A 1-0 for Spartans, they scored very early, after a weak back pass header from Rhonda Jones got caught the Spartans forward who went round Celtic young goalie and scored.
Celtic hit the crossbarr 3 times and had a close range shot gone just wide but it didn't go in.  If you don't take your chances, you can't win.
As I was in Glasgow for the Olymnpic game, I took the opportunity to watch a local league game as well thanks to Emily's parents who gave me a lift to the ground. Loads of ex Arsenal player in that Celtic team with Nathalie Ross and Suzanne Grant also in the side.  Astroturf pitch was quality and it was mainly on the floor football, rarely hoofing or punting the ball forward.

Gee so you made up to Lennoxtown its quite a journey... I went on the bus up there earlier in the year and I was half expecting Michael Palin to get on at one point...Still good result with all the challengers taking points off each other...shame Rhonda made a goof for the opening goal though.
