US Olympic team
« on: July 15, 2012, 07:10:11 PM »
The US team has arrived in England for the Olympics and today they played an unofficial training match against Norway at the Middlesbrough FC training ground, a match they won 2-0.  Then the teams tried a penalty shootout, which Norway won 6-5.  The team is training in the area for six days before departing for Glasgow where they play their first match.  More information:

What a blood and thunder English FA Cup tie this one was.......for all their skill and artistry, both sides would not look out of place in the men's game over here.Still, edge of the seat stuff with drama all the way.......what a finish from Morgan to set up the 'revenge' match against japan in the final....can't wait...

US got the job done and whilst the game was never going to match the Canada semi-final, thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course, I switched over to watch the Bolt and missed the second Lloyd goal.......still, well worth watching it on the highlights.....

The trick for Team England is to watch videos of the US team to see how it's done....
