Rangers Ladies FC jettisoned from SWPL?

Shamed Scottish club Rangers will meet a grubby end shortly, as they are to be liquidated.

Over a DECADE of cheating Scottish football and the UK taxpayer finally caught up with them.

The club must now bow and scrape before SPL rivals, BEGGING to come back as a 'newco' zombie club.

But what of their women's section?

The women, formed in 2008 and totally amateur, had no part in the meltdown.

BUT they enjoyed training facilities and payments-in-kind beyond the dreams of other, law-abiding clubs.

Action must be taken but what form should it take?

If it is like in the WSL were clubs are legally independant from parents club well nothing has to be done.
If not...

It could be that soon all that remains of Rangers is the woman's side...I don't see why they should be made to leave they started in the lower league and came up through the ranks unlike Celtic who came into the top division by taking over Arsenal North in an invasion of the body snatchers sort of a way.
