OK, everyone, now that the blokes have their England squad for the Euro's, time to pose a question;
Who would you select to represent the Women's GB Football squad for the Olympics??

.... does anyone know when tickets for the friendly games at the Riverside will be available =? It seems a little odd that you can now get tickets for Olympic group games at Coventry for example but there is no information for games that occur before then?

In a word no. Done a quick search on the net, and can find virtually nothing.

The Olympics have been selling tickets for a while though, and so it's not really odd that you can get tickets for those even though they are later in time.

I read somewhere last week that the 'whoever' is trying to sell the tv rights for both matches at Riverside and there's talk of making the kick off times earlier to accomadate showing both matches with a break for News in the middle.
I'm guessing that's why we can't get tickets because it's not been finalised.

Hope Powell said players selection would be made on fitness and form. With the squad conmmunicated on the 26th of June, how many club games played by Kelly Smith at that date ? How many international games 1 and half...edit she has played 19 minutes of club football

Today's England squad for the Olympics will be named...oops "Team GB" sorry.  ;D
If there are 2 non English players in the 18 that will be a miracle the way things are going.

Surprised that Harries was left out though.  :o

Going to the double header up at Boro - looking forward. Have to say the blue training top looks better than the playing top though.

Little will run the show for Team GB - I have a little hunch that Smithy won't make it through the tournie.......( with treatment, I should be right as rain in a few weeks...)
