Glasgow City live on telly!
« on: November 02, 2011, 04:49:51 PM »
Glasgow City's Champions League pasting in Potsdam was beamed LIVE into UK homes on wednesday afternoon.

Sadly the broadcast was marred by an incomprehensible drone over the commentary.

No, not Jen O'Neill's efforts on Eurosport ;D but because the match is being shown on little-known Gaelic cable channel BBC Alba.

For those who don't mind the sound of a hurdy gurdy playing over their football, the match is still on.

The plucky Scots with the controversial Orange shirts are just 3-0 down at half time.

Final score 10-0, safe to say Glasgow are out. Potsdam is a tough opposition, it is a good yardstick to see how much work has to be done to compete with europe's elite.

They are back on Alba on this evening so you'll have more hurdy gurdy to enjoy whatever hurdy gurdy actually is...not sure what you mean by the controvesial orange shirts...it is a bright electric orange and not the shade which might have unfortunate connotations...
