City 5  Klaksvík 0

Glasgow City rounded off their UEFA champions league qualifying tornament with a good few goals against Klaksvík from the Faroes.  Christie Murray got things off to a brisk start when she fired City into the lead after just 4 minutes.  From that good start thought they struggled to add to their lead until the half hour, Murray Jo Love Leanne Ross and Rachel Corsie all passed up chances before Kat Lindner finally made it 2-0.  Within a few minutes it was three when Leanne Ross added her name to the score sheet.  City then pushed forward for the rest of the period with Emma Fernon sending a shot wide and Leanne Ross having a shot blocked but with a few minutes before the end of the half Jo Love pretty much sealed the tie and City's place in the forth round with the forth goal.

Into the second period and City were pressing forward at every opportunity with Kat Lindner being caught offside and Clare Gemmell off target.  City then made changes with Jo Love going off and Emma Woolley coming on and with an hour gone Eilish McSorley made it 5-0.  Lisa Evans blotted her copy book with a yellow card and then had an effort on goal before being taken off to make way for Dancia Dalziel and Jill Paterson making her return to the side. At teh end of the match Claire Johnstone was awarded keeper of the group and Kat Lindner player of the group.
