Foulsham Ladies made it four wins on the trot, winning 4-2 at Sheringham on sunday despite deing depleted, with two goals coming from Jess Shand and two from Nina Batchelor. Michelle Balbirnie also scored twice, with own goals.
Foulham took the lead with a well taken goal, the move started on the left wing. Nina ran into the penalty area and set up Jess to slot home from close range. But before half time Michelle levelled the score. As she tried to clear the ball it skimmed off her leg, beating the diving Penny Blake in goal.
But when Nina scored again Foulsham were back in the lead.
In the second half Michelle again tried to clear the ball but it spun off her boot into the Foulsham net.
Although Foulsham only had 10 players they continued to fight, and when Jess {put the away side ahead} with a long range shot and Nina scored from close range, it was no more than they deserved.
Sheringham were thanked for their hospitality after the game.
