City 3 v 2 Curzon Ashton

MCLFC managed 3 points today in a game that could have gone either way versus local rivals CURZON ASHTON, who were keen to inflict league defeat on us after the shock cup exit against Mossley Hill (congrats) last week. We looked comfortable at 2-0, with the possession stats overwhelming in our favour but a sloppy 10 minutes lapse in concentration could easily have cost us. In true "derby fashion" the game erupted into life after Curzon pulled one back at 2-1....

Chances missed and the ref needing to be assessed not only by his tutor in the stand but Andy Grey would've had a field day should this have been on Sky Sports but credit to the players, they kept their heads, played their football and got the winner they deserved.
Blue Moon Arising??? :D.
