I am devestated by this news, we were going to meet up at the Cup Final...for the very first time. It's a big loss for everyone that knew and loved him.

So shocked and saddened by the news.He often used to go to Marine (and always in his Arsenal shirt!).Whenever we spoke id always have a go at him for wearing it.It was all friendly banter and he took it as it was intended.
Unfortunately i never spoke to him on Sunday. But im glad he made it to Marine one last time and it was the fixture against his Arsenal team.Glad he got to see them win.

Oh man thats a shame,
I had a message about this on Facebook this morning.  He was a lovely bloke too, saw him a few times at games and he was a good fan for his team, its a shame he won't make the cup final.  Had some good banter on here with him too so it will be a really sad loss...

That's a real shock.

I hadn't met Clive, but thought it only a matter of time before we shared a drink at Imber Court or Boreham Wood.

Sad, sad news. A gent and true supporter.

RIP Clive. You'll be sadly missed.

Such sad news.... i remember first meeting him at Borehamwood in 2008 for Arsenal's game against UMEA, with a nice big smile on his face even in the cold weather. Always smiling every time I saw him at a game. RIP clive  :)

Oh, no. Poor Clive. :(

I'll miss his love of all things Arsenal as well as his humor.
If the only prayer you say in your whole life is thank you, that would suffice.

Clive made you feel at ease as soon as you met him. We used to laugh at the silly nighttime journeys we had both made for the love of the game. Him to my home town Southampton for an England match and me to his North Wales home area for a Wales match. I respected his support for local grass roots womens football as well as his Gunners. Even though I only met him rarely, I always enjoyed  the brief times spent in his company. He will be missed........R I P

Late last night i got a txt informing me that my great uncle clive had died.  It was a txt i had been dreading all evening and hoping would never come.  He was a great guy , would do anything for you.  I gonna miss our chats and messages.  Espcially winding each other up over our footie teams.
He will be truly in my heart for always and i'm gonna miss him so , so much.  The only thing that makes it easier is myself and his friends did all we good to find him but it was just too late :'(

Thanks, Syl, for posting this.

Clive was a very kind man, always smiling, always willing to help, generous and easy going.

We've been together to many games all around the UK, he loved Arsenal & Arsenal Ladies so much.

He never said a bad word about anyone, loved his friends, his cats & dogs and his Arsenal.

I am very sad he passed away, way too soon. I will miss him a lot :(

The night his ex-wife texted me with the sad news, I only managed to send one text to Leanne, and I'd like to thank her to pass it on to all of you.

Anyone who would like to attend Clive's funeral, please e-mail me: sstorm15@yahoo.com and I will inform you as soon as I know everything.
Or wait for Leanne to text you, as she promissed to pass the news again.

So long Clive, you will be missed a lot. You were the best Friend :(

P.S. I apologise for my English, as usual.

Thanks for coming back to the site and posting this Agent Smith...

I have just got home from the Arsenal game at Borehamwood and was really pleased that there was a tannoy announcement about Clive before the game and as Vic Akers mother had also passed away this week a minutes silence was held for them both before the kickoff and the players all wore black armbands...

Well done to the Arsenal for that. A great gesture and I am sure Clive would have been well chuffed....
