How stupid to have the game taking place at the same time as the men have a cup fixture live on terrestrial TV

Maybe they want to know the fan base that is interested in Arsenal Ladies but not Arsenal men team.
It will be interesting to see how many supporters will attend.

Arsenal would never act in that way.  The Club would always want to attract as many fans as possible to the games. You will still get some Arsenal fans turning up as I know lots who prefer to watch a live game rather than one on the TV.

I'd much prefer to watch a live game, but distance (and costs) make it easier for me to watch a game on tv.
But - even if men's games are on a non-terrestrial channel, ie a pay one, they will usually still be available via a stream on pc. (But, can't record, unfortunately).

I have a season tic for the ladies - just £20 as you'll know - but it will cost me double that in fuel to get down for just one game.

I'm trying to arrange "short breaks" - eg I stay with a friend in Essex for men's home ECL games, but the WCL games don't fit with my journeys home this season, unlike last season when I was able to see Umea on way home from one.

Also, I might get a hotel for night before home game with Blackburn ladies on 20th March if I can get a tic for men v West Ham the day before.
But the home leg v Duisburg on 17th March will be too much on top of that :(
The pic is Tytti Porkka of Finland - I actually took it myself, but have lost all my pics and have no more :(
