The Womens Premier League fantasy football game
« on: August 10, 2009, 10:01:01 PM »
We will start on Sunday will basic players value until the end of the Euros 09. Then we will start the proper game with more accurate  players value provided by a panel of supporters from different clubs and neutrals, when the database is complete ( it is quite huge and needs refinement as it should contain  up to 20 player per club and yes I play football manager too much lol)
I will provide the winner of the game with a French saucisson to make it interesting.

Here are the rules

Players value (valid until end of euros)

Any senior international present or past 5
Any youth international from U17 to U23 3
Any other player 1

maximum value per  team 43 (pre-season)
3 players maximum from the same side
1 goalie 3 or 4 defenders, 3 or 4 midfielder, 3  forwards

scoring chart

Goal Scored 5

Scoring three or more goals per match 10

Clean Sheet (keeper/defender)5

Clean Sheet (midfielder) 2

Conceded more than one goal (keeper/defender) -1 per goal

Penalty save (keeper) 3

Sent off -3  in total

Player plays in the game sub or starter 1

Any question just ask  ;)

Just give yourself the prize shlj - no-one understands the rules yet, and if we eventually do, you'll probably win anyway ;)

Someone rightly pointed to me a deficiency within the timeline, so here is an updated version of the rules :

11 players picked 1 GK  3 or 4 DF 3 or 4 MF 3 FW

squad value a maximum of 43 millions only 3 players maximum from the same side
players value 5 millions for all the fully capped players , 3 millions for those with youth level internationals and 1 million for every other player.

The scoring chart does not change, and I will update the results once a week probably  on Mondays.

The timeline change :
Scoring starts on Sunday for Phase 1 that will last till the end of the Euros for the England team.
Transfer windows until the beginning of domestic competition for Leeds, Arsenal Everton and Chelsea probably 13/09
Phase 2 until the Christmas Break
Transfer windows until the restart of domestic competition
Phase 3 until the end of the season

Points from phase 1 2 3 and will be added and the winner will get the saucisson or the tome de savoie  ;)
The players value will change in phase 2 so that the first transfer window will allow to swap  players.

Every player can submit 1 team no rude names please, so choose carefully your eleven players otherwise you will have to wait the transfer to swap the badly performing ones. If a player gets transferred to the WPS out of the transfer window, she will need to be replaced by a player of the same or lower value.

Any question just ask or pm me, the deadline for submitting teams for week 1 is Sunday the 16th of August at midday.
