Algarve Cup 2009

Adrian Tucker has named the women's senior squad to travel to the Algarve Cup in March.

Wales will play four matches, against Austria on 4th March, Portugal on 6th March, Poland on 9th March, then finally a positional play-off match on 11th March.  Kick off times and match venues are yet to be announced.  Please see the Fixtures section of the website [below] for updates.

The squad is:

Thanks Alan - but I was double-checking if Cheryl Foster had left Liverpool and gone to Bristol Academy, as I was certain I'd seen a reference to her scoring for Liverpool on Sunday, and she did, too.

Then I noticed they had Helen Lander as playing for Bristol Academy too  :-\

Welsh FA seem to need to get their act together.
What is it with these FAs ?  :'(

The message this team selection gives if you want to play for Wales play in the English League what hope for the Welsh leagues.
