Arsenal v Chelsea
« on: January 14, 2009, 01:41:24 PM »
As far as I was aware, this match was due to take place at The Emirates.

Nothing on the Arsenal website to say whether this is the case, or whether it's at Boreham Wood - or about getting tickets.

I bow to the superior knowledge of my Arsenal colleagues on here. Has anyone heard anything re: the venue and tickets?

That's interesting.

Earlier in the season, it sounded like a done deal that The Emirates and Stamford Bridge would stage the league matches.

While I appreciate the fixture list has changed drastically since then, the men's team are up in deepest Humberside, so it still seemed a goer.

Fine by me. The Wood is further, but arguably easier for me to drive to, rather than take the never-ending trip on the Piccadilly Line.

Thanks guys.

As OOH Fayefan points out, I figured there would have been more publicity if it was happening at The Emirates.

And as for Wood burgers, I'm always happy to try out new culinary delights.
