The early start shouldn't be a problem as Fløya, Kattem and Ørn all play on artificial grass (though Kattem really shouldn't) If Røa beats Potsdam they'll have to catch up with two matches on midweeks, too - hopefully they won't just be delayed to the next midweek but all the way until May and June.

No internationals in mid-July - they just shut down completely. (Yes, I know the players are amateurs and need a break, but...)

Thanks, Sam . . something interesting to follow each month up to the start of the season.  Who knows, Eurosport might even decide to carry the Algarve Cup . . :) let's hope the Armenian sheepdog trials don't clash . . :)

Opening clashes with the Winter Olympics which they have wall-to-wall coverage of, iirc.

Might get the final I suppose.

Anyway, the full calendar is announced here. I nearly wrote it all in the post but realised it's TMI. Attached to the post instead. Some highlights and possible TV matches (one can dream):

April 10: Kolbotn - Stabæk
April 24: Kolbotn - Røa
May 8: Stabæk - Røa
May 24: Kolbotn - Klepp (clash of the Drillos), Stabæk - Lillestrøm, Donn - Amazon
May 29: Lillestrøm - Kolbotn
June 12: Røa - Lillestrøm
June 27: Trondheims-Ørn - Stabæk, Klepp - Røa
July 3: Stabæk - Klepp, Røa - Trondheims-Ørn
July 31: Fløya - Stabæk
August 7: Kolbotn - Lillestrøm
September 4: Arna-Bjørnar - Stabæk
September 25: Røa - Stabæk (at least the potential league final is decently scheduled - yes, three days after CL for Røa, but it's not in the decisive times of the play-off and the CL opposition is hopefully beatable)
October 9: Kattem - Røa
October 16: Lillestrøm - Stabæk, Arna-Bjørnar - Røa (Røa get two trips to Trondheim and Bergen either side of a potential CL away match, great)
October 30: Røa - Kolbotn
November 6: Lillestrøm - Røa (another potential league final)

This all assumes Ørn stays afloat, of course.

The kick-off times in Toppserien have been moved back an hour to 15.00 Norwegian time. (Will presumably be earlier in October and November.)

Tusen takk for det Sam.

The first thing I noticed is that LSK Kvinner isn't scheduled to play any of the "Big 3" until round 8 (May 24 @ Stabæk).  Then LSK play their their next two against Kolbotn (home) and Røa (road).

The schedule for Stabæks women team seems much better than the one for the men. Before matches will be moved because of TV there is just one time where you can't watch both team. The other times there will be matches for both team there is home matches for both teams, and they will not be played at the same time. Very happy that NFF put the two matches in Tromsø the same weekend (because of European Cup the men can't play saturday). So hopefully we will be more than two Stabæk supporters at the Fløya game  :)

Indeed. Here's hoping it continues this way and that NFF has learned how to acually sell a product ( :D). If Vålerenga goes all the way to Toppserien (before being relegated in an embarrasing manner), it could prove interesting.

Bump for La Manga fixtures and kick-off times

http://football.lamangaclub.com/leveltwo.asp?code=70&subcode=362

Specifically, matches on Wednesday and Friday:
January 13, 18.00: Norway - China
January 15, 12.00: Norway - England

England are playing two matches in 6 hours; this, combined with their humongously sized squad, suggests they'll be playing with completely different XIs in their two matches.

First stage is, maybe they have learned (the hard way) how not to destroy a product  ;D

Wait -- so is Norway playing China once or twice? It has them listed as playing both on 1/13 as well as 1/16. Maybe one is a closed-door match?
If the only prayer you say in your whole life is thank you, that would suffice.

Had missed that, but it seems you're right. Weird.

I think at least one of the matches might be over 3 x 30 minutes. China played one of those against the Democratic People's Republic of Our Great And Honourable And Not At All Dictatorial Leader etc.
