Arsenal Quartet in Play - off place
« on: October 02, 2008, 11:31:29 AM »
Emma Byrne, Niamh Fahey, Yvonne Tracy and Ciara Grant will be hoping to play a part in the Republics play -off bid to reach Euro 2009 after narrowly losing 1 - 0 to Sweden in Trelleborg last night.... Allegedly Ciara was close to grabbing a late equaliser with a volley at the end........

We await the draw for the play-offs on 6/10/2008, and wish them alll the luck o' the Irish.... ;)

Looks like Everton v Arsenal in the League might be called off if Ireland plays on the 26th

a 1-1 home draw maybe a bridge too far, as Ireland have to score to stay in it....... :(

With another play-off match being shown at 4.00 pm ..no mention of which one. Add 4 hours of the Under 17 finals in the morning and Thursday looks quite a good day for coverage of womens football.

Yeah but with 3 showings on the Brazil - England game today....I still wont be able to see either of them.....why put on during the day, why not leave 1 till the evening...
