Youth squads named
« on: February 05, 2007, 01:26:33 PM »
Brent Hills, Mo Marley, Lois Fidler and Kay Cossington will all be putting some of the country's finest young players through their paces this month as competition for places ahead of the FIFA Women's World Cup in China hots up.

An U23 squad will be in La Manga for two matches against Norway and France under the watchful eye of Hills and National Head Coach Hope Powell, with two players flying back from University in America.

Lianne Sanderson will be looking to continue her international experience against two of the top European countries, whilst Steph Houghton, Jo Potter Katie Holtham and Kelly McDougall have all had a taste of senior international football and will be keen to impress ahead of the three Senior internationals in March.

Mo Marley's England U19 side will take on Austria, the Czech Republic and Ukraine in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women's U19 Championship between 10-15 April 2007 in Austria.

With the finals from 18-29 July, Mo will be quietly confident after her side finished 2006 with two strong friendly performances in Iceland.
