superb strike imo......want another one on Sunday please.. ;)

Well, she got one for you, even if it was just a pen. ;)

It looked to me that couple of players bottled it actually, no one seemed to be in a hurry to take it. Well done to Kaz.

From http://www.football-england.com/womens_football.html comments on the Arsenal-Everton League Cup game (Sunday 5th October) - Arsenal 3 Everton 1

"I would also like to mention an incident late on when Karen Carney went hell for leather after a ball that was skidding out of play on the left wing and managed to trap it perfectly with her left foot after a luge style slide and was then actually up and racing towards goal in one magical movement.

This was an incidental piece of action in the grand scheme of things but it was genius nonetheless and something I felt privileged to have seen."

I read that comment on the site and thought it was a nice touch, good to see reviews picking up on the desire and skill in women's football; particularly IMO one of the best players in the game.

In Issue 31 we are interviewing wing wizard, Kaz Carney. And because we love you all so much we want to give you the chance to suggest some questions and find out the answers to things that you really want to know about the young star's career so far*

So, if you have a question to ask England and Arsenal (and formerly Brimingham City) attacking midfielder, Karen Carney, then please send it through to this email address before Wednesday, 5pm.

I have sent one, I guess it won't be published same as the one with Hope Powell.

It was about the "negative" tactical mindset implied by the 4-5-1 used by all the England teams from U17 to seniors that was stifling the players creativity with the over-defensive emphasis  ;D

my 'insider' at FG says that they still have not heard back from Jill Scott yet but hope to get her answers soon. I said that 'our' Kaz would be more obliging as I would threaten her with one of the 'woods finest burgers if she didnt....and I guess that Jill is very pre-occupied keeping up with the Go Go Gunnerrs at the moment... ;)

Annoying but not the biggest surprise. Playing professional football is too good an opportunity.
Well done to her. Can we get Danii Bird back asap.

It's more than OK then, it will be good. Hopefully a center back to play alongside Basset.
