Finally tv stations get their act together. In the UK, BBC2 will show all of England's games plus the final, whilst Eurosport will show all the games plus a highlight show on the net. Yessssssss!!!!

Unitt had a link to the fixtures up on her MySpace blog

http://www.thefa.com/Womens/EnglandSenior/FixturesAndResults/

Seems most of the games will be at 1 pm with the earliest game the last against Argentina at 10 in the morning so it isn't so bad...

BBC are showing all England games live plus 2 selected quarters, both semis and the final. Plus highlights from other games

I cannot remember if they have been posted elsewhere but the BBC has a full listing of what they will be showing.

Haven't got the time  ;D to type it all out so here is just the link:

I know many people are of the opinion that coverage is generally poor, but this isn't bad really, particularly if you can go interactive. We even have online coverage!

Looks as if the BBC are giving it the treatment, with Gabby Logan in charge.

The Eurosport schedule is out, at least for the first few days, at

http://yahoo.eurosport.co.uk/tvschedule_clng2_day8.shtml

and similar for other days

I wonder why Celina Hinchcliffe isn't doing the Women's football on the BBC anymore.

If any game is on both Eurosport and the BBC then I think I'd stick with the BBC. Better discussions and analysis than Eurosport IMO. Plus no commercials.

I always find the Eurosport TV website listings a bit cumbersome and it doesn't tell you which games are actually on. Although you do have to give Eurosport credit for showing games.

I suppose if they have Gabby because it's going out on the main channels and not BBC 3.  Haven't seen Celina Hinchcliffe for a while though.

Celina often does the sports bit on the news, can't remember if it is just News24 though. She has done the women's football on the main channels as well, such as the Euro2005 final.

Still if the internationals are going to Setanta Sports next year I suppose there isn't much future in it at the BBC. Looks like you could end up with Des instead.  :D

Celina does the sports on News-24.  Maybe that's a promotion for her??  last night she was on, looking all made up.  In the long shot at the end of the programme she had a pair of jeans on under the desk, haha.

It's called the relaxed and approachable look. haha.

At least with News24 you know there is some continuity with it.  ;)

On a different note, not sure of the beard Alan Hansen is growing. I cannot immediately think of any other presenters with beards.

It's better than the presenters on Sky Sports, all done up like undertakers' assistants.
Maybe Alan Hansen has a rash?
