Rovers and Chelsea at Shawbridge on Sunday

AFTER their 3-0 FA Women's Cup fourth round win over AFC Wimbledon at Shawbridge, Blackburn Rovers Ladies will hope for more of the same in the league on Sunday when Chelsea come to Clitheroe (kick-off 1 p.m.).
New manager Adam Lakeland saw his side take victory in his first game in charge, and will look to match that achievement in the league.
Rovers have recorded four wins and a draw from their opening 11 games of top flight league football, and find themselves in eighth place in the Premier League National Division, with some clear breathing space from the bottom three.
And Lakeland is sure the team can survive in the top flight and push on in the cup competitions too.
He said: "Our aim is to stay up and I'm confident we can do that. We've set ourselves a target of 19 points, so two more wins ought to do it and then the pressure will be off.
"It's something of a learning curve for both myself and the club this season, but if we can retain our top-flight status then we can focus fully on both the Lancashire and FA Cups, as well as looking further ahead to the next campaign."
