Women's soccer wants fans
« on: June 22, 2007, 09:33:58 AM »
COOMA'S women's soccer sides are hoping for a big crowd at Nijong Oval on Sunday to help spur them to victory in a rare shared home game.

The Division Two Tigers and the Division Four Beavers will play side-by side at Nijong Oval at 11:15.

The Tigers are hoping to continue their recent winning streak, which has seen the side catapult towards the right end of the competition ladder, in a guaranteed nail-biter against formidable Weston Creek.

The Beavers will attempt to net their second win of the season against second-placed Lanyon FC.

I shouldn't be laughing at this but team called the 'Beavers' is too much.
