The FA have confirmed Siobhan Chamberlain has left Chelsea and they will probably get an "upgrade" in that position.

for any young aspiring player not only is Rachel Brown the perfect role model both on and off the pitch, she's the one Player many youngsters would love a coaching session with, Happy Go Lucky, Charming, Modest, Special, Lovely, Sweet. A Winner and Unique Lady are just some of the words that the press have used to best describe Rachel Brown,

:D :D :D Some great journalistic objectivity there, not! I think it might be Glenn that would like a coaching session with her...

How to drop & misjudge high-balls or miss-kick under pressure with Rachel Brown  ;D

Gee it looks like Hanna Ljunburg fan wrote that though Brownie is a good shot stopper, she is a bit like Vampira though, hates crosses, ha....

Strange that they'd let her go.

??? Don't w-league only play from May - August? What is she doing for the rest of the time?

How can her old club force her to stay? She would of had to be contracted to the club for them to prevent her departure.

even if she had been contracted, how much would the contract have been worth if she wanted to move or the club wnated her to move - it happens in men's all too frequently

A club cannot force a contracted player to move to another club.

force has many guises

we have accepted an offer from so and so

club makes a new signing and effectively forces a player to move on

shove player out of first team picture

You reckon they've 'bombed her out' in favour of Telford?

Well there is a gap in quality between those two or maybe they told her she would be sitting on the bench  ???

I haven't seen enough of them to pass comment, just seems strange to ditch England No.2 goalie for the England No.3 goalie...

Maybe Chamberlain preferred playing and living in Canada during the some months...hoping to catch the eye of scouts from the WPS clubs.

Anyone who has seen Telford Chamberlain and Brown knows that Carly's athleticism, ball handling, kicking and high ball managing makes her a far better player than the other two. Maybe Carly does not do well in training ?

Michelle Evans plays for Liverpool against Atletico Madrid after leaving Everton.  Speculation is rife that Danielle Hill will sign for Liverpool in-time for the start of Super League.

I guess Everton need a back up in case Brown gets injured as Hobbs left.
Shame she will leave as Everton will probably reach the quarter final of the Champions League and she won't be available, or she will need to transfer in the last days of the transfer window...

I've heard whispers that Siobhan Chamberlain is going back to Brum for the second coming of Marcus Bignot. Laura Bassett too.

In other news, Amanda Barr has gone to Preston NE as a replacement for Liverpool-bound Gemma Watson.
