Rochdale continue to prepare for the Northern Premier League, with the addition of former Blackburn Rovers player, Sammy Fleck.

Rochdale have also signed Natalie Brewer from Blackburn Rovers.

That's very harsh on Alex Culvin....a decent and committed player.

Nothing wrong with being physical. After all a certain Welsh player is well known for dishing it out...and was rightly sent off at Everton last season.

Although Ludlow has largely got herself into trouble for retaliation. The incident you talk about should have seen Fara Williams sent off as well.

I would blame the ref rather than the FA in relation to the incident involving Jayne and Fara.

The FA did not have a look at the video after the game like they do for some men's game.
Until the incident she was doing all right, in comparison to the one who reffed the League Cup semi-final.

The quality of the video was not good enough compared to the close up you would get on sky.

Suppose Dowie was to blame as well, for getting her head in the way of Emma Byrne's fist.

Arsenal like to dish it out, so they should be able to take it.

Did you actually witness the incident?

The Asst Referee did and that's all that matters.  But I have seen the lump on a players head after she was a victim of an elbow from an Arsenal player.  Arsenal aren't perfect......they can be as dirty as any team and to single out an individual player as a 'thug' is simply unfair.

Not so clever after all, it looks like Fishlock is on her way to South London alongside a left footed playmaker from the midlands.

::) ...anyway, Lincoln's manager Wilson was quoted in the local rag the other day saying he nearly got Casey Stoney.

She knocked him back due to the lack of other 'big names' then at Lincoln. He was also in for Houghton, Nobbs and White but lost out to more "established" clubs. Says he has a few more irons in the fire and hopes the signings from Leeds will convince others to join.

Another thing he said was that Jodie Michalska is on maternity leave. I'm glad he's keeping her as she is fantastic player and goal machine - she's one that can definately step up.
