The games will be played :

Tuesday 23 November stade Paul-Chandon d'Epernay (2000)
Thursday 25 : stade Paul-Chadon d'Epernay (1500)

http://www.footofeminin.fr/notes/U17-double-confrontation-face-a-l-Angleterre_b2436866.html

For those who intend to go, Epernay is a few miles away from Reims so a tour of the Champagne will be a bonus  Wink

A dominant second-half performance from France saw them run out 5-0 victors over the England Women’s U17s in Epernay.

The two teams had gone in goalless at the break, with England ‘keeper Sophie Holland pulling off two fine stops in the first half.

However, there was very little she could do about the French onslaught after the restart and succumbed to Charlotte Landrieux’s strike after just 19 seconds. An injury to Harris, after an unfortunate slip, went unnoticed by the referee and France capitalised to make it 2-0. It was 3-0 just four minutes later as France demonstrated their clinical side.

They extended their lead in the 66th minute before rounding things off with a fifth from the penalty spot late on.

England Head Coach Lois Fidler could take some positives from the game, however, in that she handed four players their debut and she has to wait just two days before getting the chance to make amends; they play France again on Thursday.

England
1 Sophie Harris, 2 Aoife Mannion, 3 Paige Williams, 4 Jessica Round, 5 Lauren Haynes, 6 Leah Galton (C) (15 Meaghan Sargeant, 70), 7 Hollie Kelsh, 8 Holly Crosby, 9 Jessica Sigsworth, 10 Abbey-Leigh Stringer, 11 Beth Merrick (17 Anna Young, 84)
Substitutes not used 13 Jasmine Elliot, 14 Sherry McCue, 16 Lucy Gunton-Jones, 18 Katie Wilkinson

If you know someone at the FA why not ?
I personally got shouted at during 10 minutes by a FA **** telling to they were going  to kick me out, threatening me etc...
The guy was abusive against me for a long period  and the mf was there again  at the U15 game yesterday.
I just kept my hoodie on.

The five-day camp will take place from Monday 15th until Friday 19th August, at Welbeck College.

"It’s great that we continue to have our young players called into the International programme." said Sunderland Manager Mick Mulhern.  “Beth has made a good start to her time at the club and we will work with her to continue her development through the England age groups over the next few years.  Rebecca has only just recently been called up from our U16 Centre of Excellence team and the next year will be a steep learning curve for her.  Both have the potential to go far in the game and that will benefit the club"

Everyone at Sunderland WFC wish Beth and Rebecca, the best of luck in Loughborough

This week's friendlies are being staged at Welbeck College, taking place on Wednesday afternoon (4.30pm) and Friday morning (11am).

Kenny was assistant to Noel King when the Under-17s two years ago when the squad qualified through the two group stages of the UEFA series into the finals where they finished runners-up. They followed that up by reaching the World Cup quarter-finals in Trinidad and Tobago.

This season's contingent has a long road ahead to emulate that group, particularly with a difficult qualifying group to negotiate in October.

Still, Kenny has been pleased with their progress to date and believes this trip will help greatly prepare his squad for the rigours ahead in the competitive series.

Kenny said: "This is a vital week for us in terms of preparing for the upcoming UEFA qualifying campaign.

"We plan to arrange a final training camp for next month but these two matches against England will tell us a lot as to what level we're at.

"Our squad is changing all the time. We've brought five new players into the panel from the last get-together and they'll all get their chance this week."

Two players that shone at last month's Gaynor Cup representative tournament, Lauren Bowles (Strand Celtic) and Sarah Rowe (Ballina Town), have won their first call-ups. Four American-born players, who qualify through parentage, are also included.

The standout player at the Gaynor Cup, World Cup panellist from two seasons ago Claire Shine (pictured on front-page slideshow), is part of the Ireland squad in England this week.

Kenny added: "There's plenty lot of talented players in this squad and they will face two good tests in the friendly matches. England would be a number one seed in qualification groups and are always there or thereabouts at every level of the Women's game when it comes to the final stages of UEFA competition."

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND U-17 WOMEN'S SQUAD:
Jill Maloney - Atlanta Fire, Courtney Brosnan - PDA, Nicole Cranny - St. Joseph's FC, Lauren Dwyer - St. Fiacc's FC, Annie Monaghan - Colchester USA, Shauna Newman - Raheny United, Mary Fitzpatrick - Atlanta Fire, Ciara Rossiter - Forth Celtic, Ciara O'Connell - Wilton United, Ciara Cormican - Colga, Carys Johnson - Kilmallock United, Lauren Bowles - Strand Celtic, Chloe Mustaki - St. Joseph's, Caroline Healy - Mount Merrion YFC, Katie McCabe - Raheny United, Sarah Rowe - Ballina Town, Amber Barrett - Lagan Harps, Michelle Farrell - Longford Town, Jenny Ferrari - St. Joseph's, Clare Shine - Douglas Hall, Fiona Bennett - Curracloe United, Olivia Dawson - Killarney Celtic, Amy O'Connor - Wilton United.
