Reading have sold Emma Follis to Birmingham and I am still puzzled by this. Why sell your number 1 atatcking option to a potential competitor.
If you could look at their passmap, she was their main go to player and threat.
They must have lined-up a top player to replace her and the other forwards and attacking midfielder that they got rid off ?

For their sake, you'd hope so...

Meanwhile at Doncaster, Sue Smith is leaving the club, although she 'hasn't made a decision' yet about possible retirement.

After Sunderland lost Beth Mead to Arsenal, Sunderland's goalkeeper Rachael Laws is also on her way, down a division to neighbours Durham.

SAFC have quickly found a replacement in goal, Anke Preuss, and have brought in midfielder Dominique Bruinenberg.

Presumably they're aware they'll be part-time :) but it's slightly surprising to see Sunderland attract overseas talent, rather than just young local players - even if the new signings seem to have been more like fringe players at their old clubs?

Quote
Sunderland Ladies have signed FFC Frankfurt goalkeeper Anke Preuss and ASGM Verona midfielder Dominique Bruinenberg for 2017.

Preuss, 24, a Champions League winner from her time at Frankfurt and a Germany international, joins to replace Rachel Laws after her move to Durham.

Bruinenberg, also 24, has played for Verona in Italy, and is a former Netherlands Under-19 international.

"Both girls have been on our radar," said head coach Carlton Fairweather.

"We are delighted to be bringing in two good quality players who both have experience of playing some of the top teams in Europe in the UEFA Women's Champions League."

Is there an actual transfer window? If so, when does it close?

Looking at the transfers listed on She Kicks, Follis is one of 6 players to sign for other clubs from Reading (Along with Davies to Donny, Roche to Aaland, Stobbs to Everton, Walkley to London and Ward to Yeovil), with only 4 (Chaplen and Furness from Sunderland, Green from New Zeland and Van Den Berg from Liverpool) coming in

In addition, Nia Jones, Jade Boho-Sayo and Shelly Provan have all been released

Perhaps, after City went with a small squad last season, we should all watch out for Reading this season  :D

Transfer window closes 6th of April and then will reopen in June.
I am curious to see, if they will change their football style with a different attacking personel

Possibly
When Anna Green signed - A full back, Kelly Chambers described her as "a great attacking player"

Liverpool sign Jess Clarke (from Notts) and Laura Coombs (after loan from Chelsea) - http://www.shekicks.net/news/view/14299

A few days after 6th April, maybe the window dates were changed?
